I looked like such a bum today in my oversized Beatles t-shirt. Some hairs escaped my ponytail and I'm pretty sure I got some looks...

Hi bloggers!
I've had a pretty good week (and I'm in a good mood for the first time in a long time).
Let me tell you about it...

Tuesday-Friday
Tuesday: First day of eighth grade. We had to do some "fun activities" with the seventh graders (like running and screaming at the same time, and sitting on each other's knees). It was a half day so after school I hung out with my two good friends. We went to the pier and this homeless creep wanted to tell us a joke so we took off.
Wednesday: Another half day. Middle school meeting and then short classes.
Thursday: No school. Rosh Hoshanah
Friday: Half day--again.

Saturday & Sunday (today)
Saturday: I met my friends Leslie and Rachel, and Rachel's sister Ally at the Italian festival.
Sunday: Woke up early, walked down to the church (flea market), and bought a camera (pictured above). I got everything for $10, but I had to run all the way back to my house to get my other five dollar bill. I'm so excited to use this camera, you have no idea.

My first full week of school starts tomorrow...can't wait. A couple of my friends are in my class, which is good, but I wanted to get the other homeroom teacher. But everyone else says I have the "fun class" because some loud hyperactive kids are in my homeroom. It's going to be such a crazy year, I'll tell you that.

I'm just going to go ahead and end this post here.
Have a nice week & thanks for reading!

four days of summer left.

NO.
How did this happen?
I'll say it once, I'll say it a million times, summer goes by way too fast.
But hey, at least I didn't have any assignments(so I was able to reblog as many photos as I pleased on Tumblr).

I've spent the past few days at the library, and I'm pretty sure everyone there has seen enough of me.
I've had a lot of time to read these, though:

  • Teen Angst? Naaah... by Ned Vizzini
  • Beastly by Alex Flinn
  • Bad Girls Don't Die by Katie Alendar

Oh yeah, and did I mention that I have a penpal? I didn't? Oh okay. Well, her name is Izzy and she lives in Boston. She's really cool. (Thanks, Flickr)

I won't really have much time to blog when school starts, because this year in particular is going to be very stressful and busy for me, with high school applications to fill out and many prompts to type up. So don't be alarmed if I don't post as much.

Well bloggers, that's all for now! Thanks for reading!
