Hello, hello, hello!
I've had an amazing week.

Writing class is going well; everyone has broken out of their shell (at least I hope). Our topics are getting more and more interesting as well. I only have four classes left.

I journeyed over to Claire and Alexis' house and slept over.

The new season of Degrassi premiered, and boy, just when you think that school has been through enough, another scandal comes along.

Oh, and I almost forgot, I have a trip to California coming up. I'm visiting a really good friend of mine for a few days, and you cannot imagine how excited I am to see her.

So needless to say, I have had a busy week, and it all went by pretty fast.
Stay tuned for more of my adventures.

what i've been up to

I have been incredibly busy these days. So incredibly busy that I did not take the time to make a post, which resulted in a huge 10-day gap, which I am trying to fix now by writing this.

Last weekend (Saturday to be specific), I spent the whole day with my friend Marina. We walked around town and stopped in stores and spent our pocket money. She ended up spending the night, and we had a movie marathon (Remember Me and Juno) and didn't fall asleep until four.

my failed attempt at drawing a canon ae-1 camera.
my camera obsession is so crazy, i might need an intervention.

My writing class started on Monday, and I actually really like it, despite the fact I'm one of the youngest kids in the class. But my teacher is funny and my classmates are cool, so everything's okay.

I'm reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower again. It's just such an amazing book and it is so inspirational. I practically worship Stephen Chbosky now, and I certainly hope the rumors about him writing and directing the film adaptation are true.

I've been having an amazing summer so far, but so much is yet to come.
I hope you all have a nice weekend.

It was a sweltering 99 degrees today here in northwestern New Jersey, but that didn't stop my mom and I from walking a mile to the train and spending two hours in New York, which by the way, was pretty much empty. We had a brief blackout yesterday (I'm talking two hours) because of the heat.

So, the past weekend was pretty crazy. On Saturday I went to Coney Island, which was fun. I rode the Cyclone and went in the old fashioned photo booths. The fourth of July fireworks were super close to my house this year, so I got to watch those on Sunday.

It's safe to say that I've spent a good majority of my vacation in New York, and I haven't even been out of school for a month yet. I'm going to have to spend a lot more time there considering my writing class starts next Monday, which I'm sort of looking forward to.

Well, I'm going to end the post here considering my night consists of these two things:

Enjoy the rest of your week!

My first full week of summer vacation has been an enjoyable one.
I've had a couple of trips to the city, and other days have been spent at home, watching Degrassi reruns.

james dean decided that he wanted to be in the picture too.

Following the footsteps of about three million other teenage girls, I saw Eclipse with Kree and Tamara. It was so nice to see them again (although it has only been seven days), and we laughed so loud, even when it wasn't really necessary. But hey, you only live once, right?

As for the movie, it was okay. Better than New Moon, definitely. But I do think the saga is so long because Bella Swan cannot make up her mind (okay, yeah, I know my opinions on this franchise are changing at an annoyingly constant rate). The movie trailers were kind of disappointing, I'm sorry to say, and usually the trailers are the best part of going to the movies because you get a peek at appealing movies that you may waste your money on in the near future. However, there was a trailer for a movie about retired CIA agents who refuse to stop fighting crime..Bruce Willis is in that (Bruce Willis in an action movie? Didn't see that coming).

I've got a busy weekend ahead of me, and a lot of cleaning to do, so I will close the post with this video:

Have a safe Independence Day!
